I've got the marathon jacket, now I need to buy a BoSox hat!
One of the unique things about the Boston marathon is that the Red Sox and Yankees play a traditional baseball game on the same day (Patriots Day). As you run down the course, the spectators like to yell out the scores and highlights as the game progresses. I'm thinking that next year's game will be high drama for the citizens of both cities. Yet another reason to run Boston!

Not nearly as bad as seeing the winning times posted already when I get to Heartbreak Hill. >>
O to witness winning times, The competition [Myself?], While still climbing uphill ~ The doctrine that reality is objective or external To the mind strikes me as purposeless. A lens or combination of lenses, as in a telescope, That is nearest to the object being viewed Is called the "object glass." Being a single individual, Object ot unit, I am that telescope. Theta Is the eighth letter of the Greek alphabet. In mathematics it is the symbol for the unknown. Much like the use of ideaograms in primitive And modern picture-making, this word for me Contains the true properties of the subject or object I wish to invoke. Canada? What did our Canadian brothers and sisters do to deserve the sarcasm? At least request that he/she be asked to drive a truck in downtown Baghdad.
As a huge Red Sox fan, and a 3X Boston Marathoner...I agree that the Sox game adds some flavor to this already great race.
One thing I've loved is being able to shout out "SCORE?" as I run through Framingham center...and getting a sporatic play by play by the by standers having a cookout on the train tracks.
Last year was especially great, as we beat the bombers 5 run to 4.
Too bad it was 86 degrees!
