What is the low ambient temperature when shirtless running becomes
unadvisable? I find that whenever I run in a shirt for, say, 1:20, I
get problems like chafed nipples. So, for now, I run without a
shirt. But the weather is getting colder.

Obviously, if it gets too cold to run comfortably without a shirt, I
will try something else, but is it dangerous to run without a shirt in
cold weather even if I feel warm enough? Can I become frostbitten
    without noticing?

I use Liquid bandage stuff in a bottle. It's never failed me in runs up to 3
hours. and it comes off without the pain involved with tape. Body glide
wears off (for me) on long runs and vaseline stains can be tough to get out
    of shirts.

The removing the transpore tape is painless.
