badly he screwed up the Iraq mess.

The interesting part is this is the debate subject (national security) that was
supposed to be Bush's strong suit. The domestic debate is likely to be a lot
more juicy. :o)

Oh, he supports the international court of Criminal Justice! To Kerry, the
US army should be the lap dog of the UN.

Kerry is for getting better equipment for the troops -- except he is one of
the few votes against funding just that.

He's against unilateral action sans the approval of the int'l community (the
US must pass some kind of "test"😉, yet is for the ability to wage preemptive
war. Something for everyone!

He votes to give W the power to invade Iraq, now says it is a distraction
(to the bereaved: your son/daughter/husband/wife's life was lost in vain!
All that matters is Bin Laden! A guy who really sees the big picture!). He
jumps on board after the easy victory, then criticized it when the going got
tough...depends on what 51% of the electorate support at any given time, I
guess.

Now he has a carefully nuanced position which resonates with the anti-war
and pro-war democrats--a brilliant rhetorical turn, but it underscores his
utter lack of consistency and conviction, and predicts a vacillating and
disastrous presidency, at a time of great peril.

The cornerstone of his plan...A Summit! Brilliant! (No matter that France
and Germany have just said unequivocally that no matter who is elected, they
won't put troops in Iraq. No matter that we've had many summits on many
Iraq related issues, most recently resulting in Nato helping with security
training.)

America's future), except when it comes to North Korea where he wants
to go multilateral with not one or two but 6 countries. Including
