  1. Newbie here:

    I occasionally run at the local high school track at the football field. I
    assume it is a 400 yard track. It has markings all around it for (I guess)
    stagger, meters, etc. There are triangles, lines, dotted lines, different
    colors, etc. A lot of stuff.

    Anyone know of a web site that might help me identify some of these marks?
    Just curious..... A Google search for "track and markings" brought up all
    sorts of strange things (lots of physics stuff), none of which seemed
    relevant.
