I bought a pair of snickers for $8.99 at K-mart. I wonder how this
low-priced snicker affects to my capability of running, compared to
high-priced (probably over $200) Nike running shoes.

them for about 60 cents a bar. Of course, the Snickers Marathon bars are
more expensive, but at WalMart they're around $1 each, I think.Obviously, too many Snickers will make you fat and slow, or at least
slower. Other that that, they may provide you with some short-term
energy but may just elevate your blood sugar for a while and then leave
you to crash.I don't know why you wish to compare a candy bar to $200 running shoes.
That's like comparing apples and, well, $200 running shoes.--Harold Buck

You guys have quite a sense of humor. I'd better shut up and run with
that bloody sweaty Kmart footware.I'm afraid even my future children can see this posting after ten,
twenty, thirty years. Is there anyway to delete this posting? It's
impossible, isn't it? -

running "shoes." You *might* be able to run in them without injuring
yourself, but why take the chance? You can get a good pair of running
shoes for $60-$80; go to a store that works with real runners so they
can look at your feet and running style and make recommendations. Note:
this means not Footlocker or Athlete's Foot.--Harold Buck

and the biting can be very annoying.Steve

You know, from the internet. But it's too late, because I just printed
myself a hard copy of the internet.--Harold Buck

I buy combat boots or street shoes from a thrift store. I've been
running about five miles a day in these bargains, with no problems.
