Hi fellow runners,

I am considering buying Garmin Forerunner 101. If you have been using
Forerunner 101 please share with me your thoughts on this.
Thanks,

I have the Forerunner 201 and in general I am very satisfied with it.
I would recommend this rather than the 101 for the same reasons
mention by Brian.
If you do decide to get it make sure you install the latest software
upgrade from the Garmin website as it resolves some very annoying
issues.
Regards,
Russell.
There are problems using it in urban areas and under heavy foiliage
where it's hard to get a GPS satellite signal.

I agree with those suggesting the 201. Amazon.com currently sells the
unit for $118 -- you have to put up with a 'too low to show the price'
gimmick and make it all the way to the checkout before you see the
price ... but, for $118 it is a hoop worth jumping through.
The 201 will allow you to update the firmware in the watch as neede.
I'm very happy with mine.

In my experience, this is, in fact, the truth.

But Tom's an [censored].
What is an [censored]? If it is what I think it is then you're in big
trouble, mister!

GWB.
Amen to that. I never thought a [censored] could be an [censored] as well, but now
I've seen it all.

The current administration has redefined several words, like idiots, liars,
scumbags, murdering [censored], [censored], [censored], [censored], [censored]... and
the list goes on.
