I stopped running in all cotton socks for that reason. There are running
socks that use other materials that "wisk" sweat away... my feet still sweat,
but they don't get soaked and havent had trouble with blisters. There are
also non-blistering running socks on the market which I have tried an seem to
    work.

My feet sweat a lot when I run, I've considered putting a little
anti-perspirant on them before running. I run in padded crew socks from
the usual places like Kmart or Walmart. Any words of wisdom on this?

My feet sweat a lot when I run. Even with "tech" socks, I tend to get a blister
between my first two toes on one foot. I've found that smearing a little
Bodyglide on my toe where the blister usually appears seems to fix the problem.

I've also found that my favorite socks to run in are SmartWool. I would have
never guessed it -- I mean, wool for running ... in the summer?!? -- but they
seem to stay dry best for me and also have an amazing ability to avoid smelling
:-) The downside is the price ...
