  1. Are there any thoughts as to why there where so many penalities at IMH?

Lots of people were drafting? :-)

  3. It was windy as hell, you are down in the aero, not always paying
attention, next thing you know, you are on someone's wheel.

Because the Pro's started 15 minutes early, the draft police basically
followed them the entire bike ride - which is why the this year we saw
a winner that was the best triathlete of the day (WHO DIDN:T DRAFT)
not to take anything away from Deboom and Mark Allen, but if you saw
the races (e.g. 1995 and 2001-2002) what you saw from most of the
better runners was DRAFTCITY through the entire bike - without
drafting, these guys would have had a hard time winning!!!

I've noticed drafting being prevalent at many of my local races. At
the LA Triathlon I had to shake and break wheel suckers and actually
    yell at one parasite.

Drafting ruins the essence of triathlon. If they have to suck (wheel)
    they should stay home.
