  4. tri zombies in Manhattan beach is good. Wide selection of gear, very
    knowledgable staff. Helen's Cycles is decent, especially the store in Santa
    Monica. Pacific Tri and Running is in the SF Valley, so I haven't been
    there. There's also a new tri shop in Redondo Beach on Catalina. Haven't
    been in there either, and sorry I can't remember the name.

    L.A.) is pretty sweet.
