Lets see. A pocket bike powered by gas? You'd be keeping it in the back of
your trousers close to your butt, wouldn't you?

God I'm sick of scooters. For a while I'd fix tires on those things but NO
MORE! These things are only being sold by fly-by-night people and bike
shops are the ones *catching holy hell* for refusing to work on them! Jerks
won't take no for an answer!

I liked the old (late-80's) Mongoose style ones - mag wheels, real
(inflatable) tubed knobby tires. real brakes. they didn't fold up into
nothing but a lot sturdier than a $50 Razor made out of a dozen recycled
soda cans. I had a lot of fun on one back in the day. you still had to
push, but hey it was either that or a skateboard so either way you're
shovin' it. and any bike shop could service them if you couldn't do it
    yourself.

seems like they'd be a lot better off for kids IMHO than those
unserviceable pieces of [censored]...I even rode mine in dirt off-road, try
that on a Razor or gas-powered job!!

We still sell those. Almost wish they had another name than scooter since
the current [censored] has polluted that name. We met our minimum order with Dyno
scooters alone before Pacific gobbled them up.

We used to sell a product called Zappy scooters and we will service the ones
we've actually sold. We got out of that business before the current craze
started because NC considers any motorized scooter a "moped" and that means
you legally have to be 16 to used them on public roads.

During the Razor craze we bought a ton of them early on (these were by Sun
Bicycles and sold for $90.) We sold through but saw the writing on the wall
and cancelled the follow-up order. Good call - we got stuck with only one
    of them after that Christmas.
