skewer spring

Ya really don't have to have em,but the LBS probably has some old ones lying about under the workbench.

The springs have little use, so don't worry about it.

As far as I know, their only use is to make sure both sides of the Quick release stay away from the axle, instead of having either the bolt or the handle come close to it. That way, inserting the wheel is a little faster. Those 2 s are important in a race, but for riding...
