Just got back from organising the annual Suffolk CTC Rough Stuff 25 mile ride. We had a best ever turn out of 71 riders for a ride around the forest tracks and bridleways of east Suffolk. A few people got lost. The fastest time around this year was 1h55m and the slowest 4h40m, thugh I think the later group probably did nearer to 40 miles in total.
Hope everyone who rode it wnjoyed it.
We will probably be using a different venue next year, with toilet facilties and better parking. See the Suffolk CTC www site fr mre details nearer the time

Nathan did the CC Sudbury 25 on the B25/49a today, his second open 25 TT. His second lap was in the pouring rain. It was cold, windy and very, very wet on that second lap. The first lap was just cold and windy ;-)

IIRC there was something happening along the orginal course, so it was changed to the new course. Certainly it was the new course named on the start sheet. Not a sporting course - start at Kentford - on to the A14 to the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds - back to Kentford on the A14, then do it again, but come off at slip road before the Kentford one for the finish.
If the weather had been better, I think a lot of people would have been faster. Nathan got *soaked* during his second lap.
