Reading on, it appears that several similar designs (super-small wheels, lots of
folding) predate the A-Bike.
It goes without saying this is a design with severe compromises, but how
compromised is it? Has anyone here ridden one of these or something
similar? I could see this as a reasonable solution for flattish, 1-5 km commute transitions, which may be a worthwhile market.
I think of myself travelling downtown by transit, where the trip to the bus
is short, but where I might like something quicker than walking 15 blocks to
my destination at the other end.
And 5 kg...hey, it's lighter than Cunego's bike!
