Trek 2100; new rim prob

What did the dealer tell you to do to correct the problem?
What good would an attorney do?

Leaks come form the base of the stem. I would rather not
bash the dealer yet.

Make sure that there are no rough edges or burrs around the valve stem hole in the rim; and that the rimtape is positioned properly around it. The other problem that I have seen with people that have chronic valve stem failure is when they constantly tighten "loose" retaining nuts on threaded valves stems and draw the tube up into the valve stem hole. IMHO these nuts are a waste anyway.
