Petacchi is in the start list, too?

No he isn't, according to cycling4all and cyclingnews. I bet those news
sites are a bit more up-to-date than the official site at
http://www.letour.fr/stf/paristours/2004/fr/engages.html that was
updated over 30 hours ago.

There's always some guesswork involved in pre-race start lists. USPS didn't
send us its roster, so I'm not sure about Max. The rest of the start list is
as accurate as I can get it on the basis of info received, but there's bound
to be a few errors.

What happened to Thor for CA? Christophe Moreau seems like an unlikely
leader in this race. I guess he is the next best with Stuey gone.
Pat McCarty should be on the USPS roster tommorrow. Spoke with his dad this
AM. Pat will be back in the US by the end of the week, 10/14, I think.

I was under the impression Thor called it a season already, too.
Doesn't his head spin with all this jetting around and jetlag and such?
I've been wondering if Damon was going to put in anymore euro
appearances this year.

Once back in the US, Pat should be at home until the Dec training camp in
Austin.
