I am looking at this bike http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=18365. I have never heard of this brand. What is the deal? I cannot find a website of them, and the price seems to good to be true. Is this a sketchy brand, or is this just a good deal?
btw I am getting a bike for training and to race..is this a bad bike for that
That brand is Performance in house brand. I have seen a few in my club rides and seem to have good components. The reason is so cheap is because they tend to use the in house brand Forte for certain parts and not everything is Dura Ace or Ultegra. I would look at it as a nice low end of the midgrade bike category. Also look at Supergo they carry Scattante brand (its their in house brand). I personally saw one of them being put together for a customer at LBS and it seem to be of good quality. It was all carbon fiber - CFR Limited Edition .

I bought a Razza 3.0 in July to get my (formerly) fat ass into shape. I weighed 265 at the start and have about 3K miles on it. It's held up fine. I've upgrade the saddle to a Koobi PRS and put carbon bars on to dampen vibration. The frame seems strong and stiff. I can put a lot of flexion in any frame, and this one is better than some High dollar bikes I tested (Trek, Spec, Giant, Cannoncrap). I think it's a great deal for the money. After I get my fitness where I want it, I'll probably keep it on a trainer for bad weather and buy a nicer bike. But that's a year or more down the road.
