Just a little report on the conversion. My right DA died last week, so
I found some old stock Campy Chorus 10spd (aluminum lever) and ordered
a Jtek Shiftmate. The bike is/was full DA 9 speed. I put the levers on
yesterday, along with the Jtek. No problem adjusting the derailleurs.
Did 37 miles this morning, and it shifts like a dream. It actually
seems to be quicker shifting than with the DA levers. Only problem I
was running into was getting used to them. I kept trying to downshift
with the brake lever, and upshift with the inner lever vs the thumb
lever. I think it's cool how the thumb lever will actually shift the
whole cog in one swoop. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the
performance of the Campy levers coupled with the shiftmate. I for one
will NEVER buy a set of Shimano levers again.
