uniglide wanted

Do you need 6 speed or 7 speed?

If you already have a Uniglide casette you can simply disassemble it
and turn the cogs over so the unused side of the teeth come into play:
just like having a new cassette. The Uniglide cogs are symmetrical
unlike Hyperglide cogs. The only problem may come with the smallest
gog (12 I gather in your case) since it has a built-in spacer which
will be on the wrong side when the cog is turned over. With a 13
tooth outer cog I have just gotten an additional spacer and put that
under the turned cog, worked fine. Any spacer from any cassette (of
the correct number of speeds) will work fine. Whether this trick will
work with a 12 tooth cog I don't know. If not you'd need to find a
new 12 tooth cog.

Get a 7-speed hyperglide cassette and file off the narrow keyway in the
cassette. Works like a charm.

Oh, yeah, you have to leave off the outside cog and use the original
Uniglide cog which has internal threads.
