Just viewed it - they said bugger all of any significance.

  4. A bit OT but what annoys me is the term 4WD. I've got a 4WD, it's a
subaru. Smaller than a lot of the vehicles on the road. Being cyclists
it's probably irrelevant whether it's a large or small vehicle that hits
you... wanders off muttering about tradesman's utes.

was prompted bt research (i think nsw racv?) stating 60% of drivers thawt that 4wds shouldnt be in cities/suburbs and that they were unsafe on the road and a few other results. who cares?

  6. My only beef on 4WD over standard sedans is that most drivers are still in sedan mode, which means they don’t take into account the size & awkwardness of their vehicle. Means a lot when you pedaling alongside in the bike lane & there’s a bend in the road.
Also they don’t seem to see much when they’re going backwards or turning. But like share-housing with a dumb rino there’s no point arguing.
I just fend for myself & brake or jump the gutter where I can.

Nothing to add from me about commercial network’s current affair shows that hasn’t been said before.
Almost wish there was a quality review board on tele programing.

Umm - the 'off' switch is an excellent review board 🙂

Ritch - just back from California, where our 4WDs would be considered 'compacts'

the world goes round and round and the same stories keep getting rehashed and re-presented. Radical new diet, food safety crisis in our own kitchens, shonky roof painter.
Why do people watch? Thank god there are no "cyclists endanger community running red light" stories included in the revolving running sheet.

    aaaghhh

i exercise the off switch and missed those ones.

the only difference between the content in the half hour scheduled episode and the 30 seconds spoiler advertisements that ambush throughout the day are the host bits in between. and I'm sick of gap tooth Ray with his cheesy smile and Naomi is ageing so quickly it makes me feel old.
