  1. I ride about 3-4 times a week, 3-4 x 80-100-km rides.
I am getting sore knees, but not on my knee, just below them, ie, on the tendon (patella tendon) that attaches the knee cap to the lower leg (tibia/fibula).
    Any ideas as too why.

Have you recently increased your riding in either intensity or frequency?
Are you a spinner or a masher?

    clipless or platform pedals?
Heels up or down-kind of pedal stroke?
    white socks or wooly? 😉

  4. Probably a more of a spinner than masher, cadience usually 95+, but can mash on hills. Have not recently increased intensity.
    Cheers,

  5. 1. Use clipless pedals - Look CX6's
    2. Probably more inclined to heels up kind of pedal stroke.
    3. White socks, yeah, with 'Fitzroy Cycles' or 'Le Tour Cycles' embroided. What's the relevance the socks question?
    Cheers.
