  1. My 1996 record hub with a 7 speed cluster is in need of some parts: cones, bearings and a spring. My bike shop is having a problem finding the parts. Should this be as big a problem as it seems? Is my only other option to buy a whole new groupo???😠 It's been 2 weeks and I need to ride...

96 record with 7 speed does not compute. Is it a freewheel or casette? If all else fails, the rear wheel could be rebuilt with a different hub.

Sorry, I have a 1996 Record hub with a 8 speed casette. Problem is my bike shop can't find parts and they say campy only sells the new 9 and 10 speed hubs. I need to find a older campy hub that takes an 8 speed casette. Otherwise I will need to buy new Hub,casette,Shift levers,Rear derailer to make it work 😠 ANY IDEAS??

Check www.branfordbike.com for parts and hubs...ebay is another source of hubs.
