This is the second seatpost i have done this to, the first was my nimbus 24 seatpost after 6 months of riding, and the one from the pictures below, is my KH20, which is *6 DAYS OLD* . has this happened to anybody else?
After years of abuse, I broke a Miyata seat post at the tubing side of the weld from pulling up too hard. Later I bent a Miyata seat post from landing too far foreward on the seat (which looks like what you did).
i have snapped rails off wilder rail converters, but since I welded a gusset to the back of it, I have had no problems.
