  1. Hi
various source told me, a 700cc wheel is:
    28 inches, 27 inches, 27.3 inches, 27 1/3 inches.
how do you define a 700cc wheel?
why does it called 700cc instead of like 27 inch or something?

Sheldon Brown at www.harriscyclery.com has everything you need to know about wheels and tires.

  3. A 700c is about 26 3/4 inches depending on what size tires you're using. It's probably called a 700c because 680c just doesn't sound cool. There is a 27 inch size, but it isn't the same.

  4. thanks for replies from boudreaux & artmichalek
it's seem there's lots different wheels avaliable out there,
but surely one of them have to be the most popular?
as LBS can't be possible to stock every size of wheels
