A wag at a local cycle shop recommends ladies secure their bikes with
'Master Lock Street Cuffs' because they are equally useful for locking
people to bedposts ;-)

My real question to the group is that, cycling into central London, I need
to know how to best to secure an expensive bike which hasnt got a cross
bar - any advice? Its a Giant Lafree Single Tube
http://www.bonthronebikes.com/product_details.asp?id=2570&type=bikes which
counts as a unisex bike.
I've bought a good chain lock (Kryptonite Faghedaboudit which is Soldsecure
Gold Standard) and am thinking of using that through rear wheel and frame
and round an immovable object. Also using a cable into the same lock to
secure the front wheel.
Would it be stupid to use the Kryptonite chain throught front wheel round
the single tube and immovable object (I would then use the bikes built in
rear wheel lock, but not have to use the extra cable lock)? Its hard to
judge if that would make it easy to steal especially if I also fit a bike
alarm http://www.evnatech.flyer.co.uk/pages/demo.html
So how do ladies (I'm a man BTW) secure their bikes?
Any advice on insurance - the one's I've tried an >10% on cost of the bike
yearly?
Cheers.
