My sister suffered a head injury in similar circumstances before those H
things were commonplace. She was cycling through Cambridge, when a
builder dropped a scaffolding pole...

I know someone who was severely injured in a similar incident when a
shop sign fell on his head as he was walking past. I don't recall any
mention of the H word in local press coverage of that incident either.

Off topic but do you remember the Hurricane in the 80's. Sister in E Grinstead had a no entry sign hit the side of her car horizontally by her head. Got stuck in the door pillar. She went back indoors very shocked!

Yes. At one point I was somewhat alarmed to find the roof of the new

and some of them might even be reasonably famous. I couldn't tell you
about Gordon Kaye.
