I need to a put a cage on my bike and was wondering how difficult it is to install. It doesn't look too hard, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't any tricks to it.

If you already have the mounting screws on the bike (most new bikes do) then it is a simple process of removing the screws and use them to attach the bottle cage. If you don't have bottle screws already on the frame, talk to your LBS about an adaptor.
