  1. Since we were chatting in a previous message about using the camel-backs,
    and how some triathlon riders have something bar mounted, possibly a
    camel-back type tube in a frame-mounted water bottle, I've kept my eyes
    open.

    Just came upon this, FWIW, called a Pakteen. "This 50 oz stand-alone
    hydration system will integrate with a load-bearing belt, web harness, or
    can be stowed inside a ruck."

    Not sure if the tube is stiff enough to project above the bars for easy
    reach by bending over a little to get a sip. That would be an important
    feature, but looks like it might strap to the H/B fairly easily.
