    Judging by where the laces are, those aren't boots ... They're dress shoes

    Alas, yes (I should have worn a floppy hat with corks to complete the
    picture). I was hoping that we'd have the podium ceremonies right after the
    race in our cycling kit, but I think they wanted to do all the prize giving
    at once - and that took nearly two hours! Everyone did get at least one
    prize. I'm glad I didn't win one of those huge lumps of cheese...
