Romoving Downtube Shifter Cable Stops

Assuming standard Campy style DT bosses and Campy or Shimano cable stops,
there should be no problem. Just remove the attaching screw and pull them
off.

All the stops I have seen have a small allen head screw.

If you mean that they won't come off after removing any obvious
hardware-

Sometimes they are a press fit- nothing fancy, just tight tolerances.
Or there is paint build up or some other reason that they will stay
on.

Take a rag and wrap the stops, then use pliers to wiggle them a bit.
A combination of wiggling and pulling should get them to pop off.
