Hmm. Typical comment about her being able to afford a limousine rather
than a bike. Is that a top of the range mountain bike?

Nope. It's a Muddyfox Nebula. Mechanical disks and a Deore groupset.

Not to mention the fact that she's riding on the road with knobbly tyres
and suspension. Tch! She wants to get herself a boyfriend that knows
about bikes like what Sheryl Crow has.

Yeah and have you noticed she is wearing flares?
Nothing like getting a bit of oil out of your pants....but wait - she seems
to be wearing shorts on her right leg.
    How curious.....

....also - that bike lock is [censored] - and she would lose that hat in no time
should she encounter a slight descent.

She rolled her leg up. Well, her trouser leg.

Would have been a good idea if I'd done that on the nice, hardly worn
trousers I'm currently wearing before I'd first taken them on a bike,
cause then they wouldn't have the ragged bottom that comes from
ripping them open on my chainring. 🙁

    Very unusual cycling short/longs. Can't tell if they're b*bshort/longs
    though.

She also has a Cannondale IIRC. Good for her - she cycles quite a bit
    by all accounts.

If she really wants to go for this "turning English" business, she
should get some nice cycle clips.

In my youth when 'bell bottoms' were fashionable all my breeks had large
chunks bitten out of them by chain rings.

Don't worry, so have every pair of my trousers. It just goes to prove
    we're real cyclists. (:

And every chain contained an irremoveable residue of blue denim threads.

Ah, so it's one of those magic eye pictures? I must try staring at it a
    bit longer.

Never mind one's employer, one's wife was in the room when one clicked
    that link. Far more damaging!

Some kind of warning would have been appropriate.
