Hi,
When zeroing the torque does the wheel have to be weighted? Or can you hold the back wheel off the ground and spin?
How long does the cpu hold the zero, i.e. could I zero the torque in my warm up before an event?
Thanks.

can i add something to you're post... it's directly relevant? why does the wheel have to be spun at all? why can't you just turn the wheel to get the hub to turn on and just zero it just sitting there?

You can zero whenever you want, coasting downhill is OK although I prefer to do it unclipped from pedals before I start any effort of significance (which is every time I ride😉 :p ).
If you suspect there has been a change, you can check and reset it it at any time - if it had changed, then previously stored data is not modified, only the new data since the re-zero.
No need to have wheel on/off ground and yes all that is needed is for CPU to be awake and have the reception signal showing.
I don't find it varies much but the times I really check closely are:
- after taking bike off roof of car (seems to need a few minutes to settle)
- on a fixed gear set up (since torque auto-zero function has to be disabled)
