  1. anyone know of any zero setback/offset carbon road seatposts? or even a carbon seatpost with the least amount of setback.. i'll take the lesser of the two evils.

i cant for the life of me find one other than the USE alien..

alien looks fine, but im hearing lots of horror stories about adjustment.

    thanks in advance.

  2. Selcof makes a "straight" carbon post -- very solid, used on a couple of friends' Giant TCR's for example. In USA, Red Rose is the importer.........

  3. I bought a Sette APX Carbon post from Pricepoint. It has zero setback and it only costs $50, which is about half of what the "name brand" carbon posts are going for. After about 500 miles it has held-up great.

    Here's a link:

  4. I've just put a carbon fiber Winwood Nico zero offset within the last 2 weeks. It's a VERY small company from MN. It's the only 27.2 MM Carbon seatpost w/zero offset that my LBS could find, not cheap at $129. Thompson aluminum's were the only other choices. I needed the zero offset to get my seat forward enough for the aero bars. The only drawback was it only came in 350mm lengths, but it is still very light @ 160gr.
