1. Dimboy2 - Yep, that's what I meant, the whole package. Your one lucky guy.

L-g - That is one serious machine I believe this will spark a revolution in the MTB industry 🙂

Ewep - Very nice . What does that baby weigh ?

2. Ewep, I agree with you. The De rosa King just beckons but I will have it with Nucleon wheels. If I could afford it, and did buy it, then I will have to keep the cost a secret. For my family will definitely confine me to a home. The way they will think? Why should anyone spend as much on abicycle as others spend on a car? Before I started riding two years ago, I would have agreed with them.

3. Black_Knight, I would prefer a Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL wheelset. My wife would kill me if I bought one, so if you do see an obit. in a SA paper stating: "De guy is on his way to de cycling heaven" you must know that de ewep bought his De Rose ;D ;D

4. My ultimate bike, right here. Titus Switchblade, Marzocchi MXC fork, Float R rear shock, Avid mechanical disk brakes. I just a put a deposit on it yesterday, and I'll have it in four weeks. 🙂

5. k00l, i spsoe ur spend months continuasly cleaning it and you wont be on cyclingforunms 🙁 lol

6. This one is easy for me.  What I would not give for a Merlin Newsboy....

The ultimate cult bike is an understatment.. most beautiful frame ever made..

7. Wicked looking bike, that Merlin... 8)

8. I am known for my preference of having something a little more unique. I almost have my dream bike in my Sintesi but if I had some spare dosh, I'd definately get the Campag Record Gruppo (with carbon crankarms). I already have Ksyriums so they will stay. Carbon seat post and a better seat. Lets see if I can post a picture for you.

Ok I can't. Check out www.sintesibikes.com

Can't really see the value offering above R25k for a bike.

Sintesi's new bike is a stunner... especially the aero seat...

;D ;D ;D 😉

10. Do you know how much that bay goes for?? ;D ;D ;D

Looks awesome with a carbon fibre spoke cover and pegs and playing cards flapping in the wind.

Bet you Lance will still win Le Tour on that, (with Jan Ullrich sitting in the back) hehehe

11. By the way. You gotta show me how to post pictures. And, correction to first reply> How much does that baby cost?

:🙂 :🙂 :🙂

Lab Rat - Re: how much does that baby cost?

Race entry fee: R100.00
Hiring of trailer to get that bike to the race: R220.00

The expression on everyone's face as you ride a sub3: Priceless... ;D

13. Can you imagine the comments you'd get as you jostle for position in the sprint for the finish. *chuckle* You could have your mate sit in the back with a stick and he could whip any guys trying to pass you.

Needs some Mapei stickers though. 😄 ;D

14. Whilst trying to find a pic of the bike Ian Brown rode in his Video for his single F.E.A.R. I came across the following

http://www.dclxvi.org/chunk/

They seem like they have fun.

If anybody has seen the video for F.E.A.R. and know what bike it is I'd love to know.

15. Laz, those guys seem kinda weird... ???

16. Imagine climbing Alpe Duez on that bike ;D You'd probable have to throw a tent in the back 😉

L-g, those are the people your mama warned you about when you were little 😉 ;D

17. Weird is not the word.

From a completely different planet would be about right.

but I'd love to have a go on some of those bikes.

Goat if those kinda people were in my neighbourhood I don't think my mother would have let me out of the house.

Now that I'm all grown up and can make decisions for myself, I think I'd still stay indoors 😄

18. Goat and Eldron: The Trek is light for sure, but not the lightest... leave that to Litespeed 😉

Litespeed Ghisallo - 0.9kg, or 1.98lbs :o

bicycleexoticadirect.com.auGhisallo.htm

Yumm.. nothin looks better than brushed titanium if you ask me :P

19. :oYou're right that Litespeed does look awesome :o
Btw Did you go for the Marin or the Litespeed?

20. Lostboyscout: There's something oh so sweet about the brushed titanium and carbon (on the Ultimate) - the curved carbon is also quite trick.

See for yourselves: http://www.litespeed.com/english/road/ultimate.html

All Ineed to do now is sell my company car and say it was stolen 😉
