Your Argus 2003 Goal

I think that most cyclists see a 3h30 Argus in the same light as a sub3 94.7. I wonder if this will be the last time we go over Ou Kaapse?

I like the idea of them alternating the routes. I know I won't make a sub 3 hr Argus next year but I would like to try my hand at that if I ever make the A or B groups. If we move to the old argus route from now on in it will change the nature. (In a way I would say that a sub 3 hr on the new route is probably the ultimate sub 3hr an amateur cyclist can aim for realistically in SA, less than 1000 people making it out of a starting gate of 30 000, thats exclusive!!!)

This will be my first and I will be happy with a sub 4.
I do not have a feel for it though so could be out by miles.

I'll be happy to improve on my time from last year. Had to go up OKW in the heat of the day 'cause I had no seeding, different story this year. I'm starting a lot earlier this time around so there's hope.
Problem is that I started training too late this year :o . I know it's self inflicted so I'll take whatever comes my way 😠 .
