I want to spread the word about the trip my friend and I are on. Neither of us were real cyclists before we left, and it has been a learning experience. We have had a lot of fun documenting so far and we like to have other people see our sloppy version of a cross-country cycling tour.

Our blog is

bycycling.tumblr.com

Our plan is to make a counter-clockwise circle around the country and end in Los Angeles. So far, we have come from Albuquerque, NM to Charleston, SC since beginning on Feb. 4th.

Hopefully this is at least entertaining for those willing to read. Let us know what you think, you can comment on the blog.

If you're really into it, please repost it somewhere you think other people might be interested to see this.

Hey,

This seems like a great project. I would really enjoy reading your story, how it went, what were the challenges, what were the excitements. I am myself a new cycler and I would love to do a round cycling trip at some point in the future.
So far I only have riding 'trips' from one city to another, the longest distance - 60 km, but was together with other people and was our first biking small trip and we really enjoyed it very much.
So, I will be looking forward or posting your blog as well to different places.
