It puts me in mind of a goal. Dunno if I'll ever do it but I like the idea of cycling it's entire length. Take, say, a month. Start from the northern end so you are going 'down hill'.

Probably though perhaps not intentionally it may have just been part of the standard cross-Canada route, but I cannot remember if Yonge St. follows Hwy 11 all the way through places like Hearst and Long Lac or if it goes along Lake Superior. The Northern route would be a bit boring since there is a lot of very flat ground from about Long Lac to Cochrane.

I have done it several times - but always in a vehicle. Lots of really FLAT road between Kap and Long Lac...... Hilly between North Bay and Temagami especially.

I have done it several times - but always in a vehicle. Lots of really FLAT road between Kap and Long Lac...... Hilly between North Bay and Temagami especially.
I believe a group did this ride to mark the anniversary of Yonge Street a few years back.
