Apart from the obvious bollocks quoted, if he's going to wear a helmet
he should at least wear it properly. That's way too far back on his head.

One of the worst pieces of "journalism" I have seen relating to
cycling in recent times. I am really fed up with (bad) statistics
being used to promote almost everything nowadays.

I am expecting the next road safety message from the government to be:

"People wearing blue jumpers have less road accidents than people
wearing red jumpers therefore the wearing of blue jumpers is now
compulsory. There will £1000 fine or 2 years imprisonment for
wearing red".

The paragraph about the egg pelting seems completely unrelated to the
story about cycle helmets to me. It looks like they have tagged part
of another article on the end by mistake. Just illustrates the
standard of this newspaper.

Those are two separate, unrelated, stories.

Mind you, that's look clearer in print on the paper's leader page than
it does on that website.
