  1. OK -- After reading tons of comments, I'm pretty convinced that clipless pedals are the way to go. Right now, I'm using Power Grips after bad experiences with Shimano 515's.

So my question now is: which clipless pedal is the easiest to get out of? When I'm riding something that gets too technical and I feel the need to un-ass my bike, I want to do it right now. My worst bike injuries have occured from being beat by my bike, not by the ground.

I never really had any trouble clipping into the 515's - just lots of trouble getting out of them, even after trying various tension adjustments.

So - how 'bout some opinions?

  2. hmm, i wouldnt really know as ive only ever used Time A.T.A.C. pedals, i think it would depend on the rider as well, my friend tryed my shoes and riding my bike and he found it really hard to unclip because of the angle ya have to twist your foot (i think its 15 degrees with these, (does that sound about right ?)but i find it really easy
