Yes or no Derailleur question

  1. When I am in the small chain ring and small cog....my chain rubs on the inside of the big chain ring making a decently loud noise. I know you are not supposed to cross chain the other way...(big ring, big cog) I assume you are not supposed to cross chain this way either. Anyways....just wanted to know if that is normal or if something is out of alignment. Thanks.

    It happens alot.Don't do it!!Has nothing to do with the derailer.

  3. This question is a good one. I heard that in some bikes there is no rub an in others there is rub, I have Ultegra double, and Tiagra triple and there is rub, does anybody got a bike/configuration where there is no rub?

    please specify groupset/framesize/chainring size/ rear derraileur size( small, medium, large) etc

    Add chainstay length.It has nothing to do with front or RD.
