  1. I voted yes, a little competition is always useful. It pushes all
    manufacturers to improve their products.

  3. Dumbest idea ever. Xtps are way too expensive for what they are. If you
want a round crown muni frame use a united round crown and save 200
bucks. Koxx should make a light steel frame for cheap, That would be a
better move than a 240 dollar muni frame that will break after time.

I think the KH07 frame has proved it is easily as strong

Maybe, but remember why Ryan Atkins rode a XTP at Unicon XIII trial
    competition...

    Quoted message said:

    - would the XTP frame allow for the Surly Large marge rim and Gazz 3"
tyre setup which many serious Mountain unicyclists see as the ultimate
    setup for seriouis DH?

This is a very good question...we have to measure if it is
possible...do you know the exact witdh of this wheel?

    Quoted message said:

    - Does the frame have break mounts for Magura Rim breaks?

No the frame hasn't any break mounts...and, that could be a problem.

    Quoted message said:

    BE THANKFUL FOR VARIETY...

You're welcome...a lot of people like criticise Koxx-One because of
this variety...they just see in it a commercial action, and don't
understand that Koxx-One is developing and specialising the unicycling
products, to make them better, which is beneficial for everybody.

  7. yer unless they can get it within like 20 bucks of the kh i dont think
many people will even consider getting one, like profile hub/cranks are
still magnificent but now that we have kh moments etc there are very
few people who would buy them over moments, this is mainly because of
the price... not because of weather they are good or not.

so even if the xtp was exactly as strong as a kh and the same weight,
unless it were to be within 20 bucks people just wont see the point,
and seeing not too many people are sure about the strength people arent
going to risk big money when they could spend lots less on something
they know is a sure thing.

If it's the same as the gray/silverish 20" XTP, I like it. Brake mounts
wouldn't be too hard to weld on I think, they would definitely be good
to have on a 24". I think it's a good idea even though I personally
    wouldn't buy the frame.

  12. The maker of any new muni frame (24 or 26) might consider having it fit
the 3.7" Endomorph as the max tire size. 3.0" maximum is now
    old-school.

but you would never want the endomorph for any riding except sand and
snow. It is so horrible for street, rocks, and dirt.

also, I think that a red frame would be awesome.

would there be a way to attach brake mounts without welding?

  14. If you try and make it compatible with the large marge you're going to
have serious problems with the brake mounts, you'd either have to
produce some really neat looking adaptors or two different frames with
the bosses welded in different places.

  15. I don't personally see the use in the Surly Large Marge. I have ridden
the rim and do not find it too great for downhill. I would prefer the
KH Freeride Rim or Alex Rims to the Large Marge anyday. The Marge is
quite the beast, strong but a little difficult to manuver. Now the Gazz
3" on the other hand is the [censored], unless you already have the Leopard
    Wildlife. Cheers

    napalm said:

Being a 24" frame i assume this is intended for Muni of some sort
(unless people other than justin Khose think street on a 24 is
cool...), so i have a few questions-

    - would the XTP frame allow for the Surly Large marge rim and Gazz 3"
tyre setup which many serious Mountain unicyclists see as the ultimate
    setup for seriouis DH?

    - Does the frame have break mounts for Magura Rim breaks?

I think you have stiff competition from the KH brand in the muni frame
market. They are cheap, strong (only heard of the santa barbra muni
guys destroying one), have break mounts. If you are selling this
product as a better option than a KH on strength then i think you also
have to assume that someone who is going to want a frame stronger than
a KH will want brake mounts and be able to fit a surly Large Marge 24"
rim with GAZZ 3" in there.
If you don't, you will be limiting your market to people who are going
to buy it on "coolness factor", rather than practicality.

Hope all goes well with the design and manufacturing of the new gear
    mark

  16. Greetings. I apologize for going off topic but I wanna take this chance
to say a few things to someone from Koxx-One: It's understandable that
the prices are higher and some of us are willing to pay more to get
something that isn't made in China or Taiwan as long as the quality is
good. Whether one frame is ultimately stronger than another seems kind
of immaterial when there are more than a few frames out there that are
plenty strong. "Support your local businesses". Also, the thing that
attracted me to Koxx-One was the choice of colors and options. It would
be nice to see more anodized stuff rather than painted, but your
products are really cool. It would be nice though if things were more
compatible with the other manufacturers. Thank you.
