  1. I'm making my fresh corn enchiladas and a new pineapple-berry
fizz drink (instead of my usual mimosa), but I will use champagne
in place of the seltzer water the drink calls for.

For dinner my aunt is having ham loaf (she gets it from a
place she knows that makes awesome ham loaf), scalloped
potatoes, and bbq green beans. Nothing fancy.

Later in the week I am going to make peanut butter cookies as
I have been craving them and haven't made them for years. No
Xmas cookies. I think I'll also try that Eggnog Cheesecake
someone posted a while back for New Year's Eve. It sounds very
    interesting.

I hope to finally get all 3 LotR movies on tape and watch
them over the break. (We are off starting tomorrow through
    Jan 2.)

I'm also hoping to get some sewing done (mostly repairs that
have been waiting for the last 10 years or so - I'm running out
of pillow cases that are not coming apart at the seams or have
    the hems coming loose).

Also, when I got my new furnace put in last month I finally
went through some boxes in my basement from when I moved in
12 years ago. I found my rock polisher and a lot of rocks I
collected years ago. I'm going to see if the polisher still
runs and maybe polish some rocks. Woohoo! Party time! I may
invite some people over to watch the rocks tumble. ;-)
