  1. I'm looking for titanium or carbon forks to replace big heavy Surlies on my ti mongoose pro massif. Since the frame is designed for a suspension, I was told that my options are pretty slim. Two names which came up were the Pace RC-31s and Xi'an Changda. Any advice?

I've got cantilever brakes and skinny tires on 26" rims. Or better yet is it possible to switch to 700s on this particular frame? I've got loads of clearance.

Is that bicycle in pieces downstairs a "road bike" or a "dining room bike?"
