what's the difference between a double and a single crown XC shock? i thought double crown only goes for dh forks ๐

A double crown fork will be less flexy.

Stiffer? Should be. Lighter? Maybe. By using dual crowns the theory is that they can use "lighter" (thinner) tubes and bits and have greater structural rigidity due to a couple of different physics wonders. Some folks love them, some folks hate them (go figure). Once again, as is all in the mtb world, it's a matter of personal preference. Take care.
