Looking for an inexpensive Shimano STI road group (Tiagra or better, no
Sora). Need STI levers, front and rear derailleurs, front and rear
brake calipers, cranks (prefer 170mm), english BB.

Have you looked at Mirage or Veloce?
Compatible with 9s shimano casstees and chains.

Will Mirage and Veloce interface with Shimano 9spd stuff without
spacers? I thought that you had to use spacers to make it work
correctly. I am building a Miyata up from bare frame for my 10 yr old
so I am trying to get the best I can on a limited budget because I don't
know how fast he will grow out of it. Any suggestions other than here
or Ebay to acquire parts? Thanks, Kevin
