I am resurrecting a mid-70's vintage road bike. I am looking for a
threaded stem to fit the 21.1mm headset. The old one does not extend far
enough out to be comfortable. I would like one that extends around 8 to 10
mm above the headset with a 9-10 cm stem, at a +6 to +20 degree angle. Any
help would be appreciated. Ed

8-10mm is not very high... most standard stems should easily raise this high
without going above the minimum insert line. Do you mean 8-10cm?Nitto makes a stem with a shaft that is around 12" long - good quality, not
too expensive. We've put a few of these on customers' bikes with good
