50/34 rings be preferred but I'd settle for a 50/36. Either model in 170mm
length.

Looking specifically for either a Chorus or Record so I can use my current
square taper bb instead of switching it. Those are the only two models that
will fit the 102mm spindle. Plus I only need to use it one day, that's why
I don't want to go through the hassle of switching bottom brackets. :)

If you're limiting yourself to a Campy "Chorus or Record" crank that
fits a 50/34 or 50/36, then you're looking to spend some $$$ as the
both only offered a "compact," i.e., 110/112bcd, in carbon. Its going
to be an expensive "one day use."

A more reasonable approach would be to buy a 2005/6 Centaur compact
crank that sells brand new from $60-80. Of course, you'll need a new
bb, but at $20 or less, its still quite a bit cheaper than a Chorus or
Record compact carbon crank. Good Luck!

Understood. I figured ease of just switching out the crank with what I
currently have is worth a few extra $$$. :) It's something I am going to
use for one day right now, but as I go into the mountains in the future, it
will be used again. :)

Due to the fact I needed this asap, I have decided for now to go with an Fsa
with megaExo bb since I had to switch it out anyway. :)

But I still want to get a Record or Chorus compact so I'm still looking...
