No, there is Not an alternative octalink bb available at this time.

Further, octalink bbs are now obsolete! Get with the program, you need
to get rid of that "old-school" crank and bb and replace it with one of
the new external bearing ones.And, what with the "9 speed"? EVERYBODY is now using 10 speed! 9 speed
is so passe. Think about that the next time you get dropped..... -
