Posting for a friend who's looking for a road bike for his 6'9"
stepson. A complete bike would be good but would also consider a
frameset. He's not ready to invest in a custom yet but hopes to find
an older frame from back in the day when some of the brands made
bigger frames. Let me know if you have something that's close.

I've got a late 70's Schwinn LeTour that is way too big for me, and I'm
6'. I hit the top bar hard when just standing on the ground. I don't
know the exact size, but will try to measure it when I get home tonight.
It might be a bit small for someone 6'-9" depending on how much of that
height is legs and how much is torso, but it would probably be rideable.
