  1. I may not be using the correct terminology. Do any of you wrap
sensitive or wounded toes, or do you use any of those Dr. Scholl's soft
"toe covers" when you run? A few years ago I broke several toes. They
have long since healed as much as they're ever going to heal. Now they
hurt on some days. Usually they hurt when the weather is damp. I would
like to be able to run in spite of this pain. Is it advisable to mask
the pain with those shoe inserts, Dr. Scholl's pads and other, similar
means? If I wait until the pain goes away, I might never run again.

  2. I've taped toes, using the white adhesive clothe (sport?) tape for
    avoiding blisters or protecting toenails.

Is dampness the problem or cold? Would extra sock layer help?

I really don't see a problem, but I haven't had to deal with what you
are dealing with. Whatever gets you up and out on the road so you can
    Enjoy the run.
    Ed
