I'm not a cyclist by any means (haven't had a working bike in about 5 years or so. Basically, I want a bike to ride mostly for casual exercise. Jogging sometimes takes a major toll on my knees, and I enjoy riding a bike more anyways. I don't need a mountain bike or anything too fancy. Basically, I'm going to be riding on a normal road when I'm living in the suberbs, and probably along Lake Michigan when I live in downtown Chicago. If someone could recommend a bike that would be good in the $100-$250 price range, I'd really appreciate it.
